Re: Petrol accumulates in motor oil of full hybrid engine
I have the same problem. Oil 2 cm above level. Identified at 1st year service. They changed oil and filter and reported it to ‘Renault. The diagnosis is that a new fuel filter is required ans is on back order . Have been given free hire care until the part arrives and is fitted.

Re: Mud Flaps or No Mud Flaps
I queried this with my dealer when I purchased my Austral including the protection pack, ie boot liner - sill protectors and surprised when he advised that mud flaps are not included as they were with my kadjar, as they do not prevent many stone chips and furthermore they can diminish the air dynami...

Re: Creamy sludge under oil filler cap.
Hi. I checked under my filler cap today. My Austral is 8 months old and there was a small amount of white emulsion like mayo in mine. It only covered the surface and wasn’t deep. I easily wiped it out, but I will keep an eye on it

Re: Interesting dealer visit
Further to my post, had a call from the dealership yesterday to ask if i could leave the vehicle all day to have 2 software upgrades. One for the chair as stated and the other for an engine/ignition upgrade, for which the engine needs to be cold. I suspect this may for the noisy engine for which the...

Re: Interesting dealer visit
This is interesting as i have had a recall letter for my Austral to have the seat adjustment rectified by a software update to stop it going back too far when the engine is switched off. I have commented on this in a previous post. When i phoned up the dealership to make the appointment the receptio...
