I bought a 70mai a800s dash cam and need to hard wire it to use surveillance while parked so what is the safest way so I do not interrupt the renault system and also to keep car battery in good condition.

Please note I have the austral 1.3T petrol version in egypt

Thanks in advance

I’d suggest using a dedicated hardwire kit with a voltage cutoff feature. It connects to the fuse box and ensures your dash cam doesn’t drain the battery below a safe level. For the Austral, check your user manual or fuse diagram to find an "always-on" fuse for parking mode and a "switched" fuse for regular operation. Use add-a-fuse taps to avoid messing with the car's wiring.
