Hi Austral users.
I can't call myself a user , as I don't have mine yet. I expect to it my Esprite model for Christmas.

Having looked at various cars, and being a previous Renault owner I decided on to get an Austral, but after reading some of the comments posted I am having doubts about the Info system.

Has Renault redone the software etc.

All I can say is I have had mine since March 24 and had no issues at all. It takes a little while to comprehend and understand as it has lots of features.

Mine is around 7 months old since delivery and built Dec 2023, the Dab radio icons still don't show radio channels.
The info screen occasionally locks up and flickers but will reset once the car is turned off..
The filler cap oil sludge has cleared over the summer and will keep a close eye over the autumn / winter.
The engine / generator noise isn't the quietest,
Finally, my wife loves it and is her favourite car to date, so there you go.

The DAB radio icon issue is odd as it shows all the BBC radio station icons but no others. This would suggest an issue with the broadcasters.

I’ve been driving mine for a few months now, and I’ll be honest, the infotainment system isn’t perfect, but it’s not a dealbreaker either. Renault has made some updates, and it’s way smoother than older models. A bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get used to it, it works fine for everyday stuff.
