Hi all
I ordered an iconic some 3 weeks ago as I loved the 4control system. However it seems now it’s been removed from all the future built iconics. Do any of you have any ideas on this, I spoke with the dealer and he said they haven’t received any update from Renault about this and that would be a big deal seems that trim level will now not have very much difference to the lower trim. The Renault website now has no mention of it and the price has been reduced, but yet if you look on any other Renault site like France for instance it’s still available. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks
4Control Removal
Ordered mine at the start of April. Very disappointed 4Control has been removed, sent my dealership a message asking about if they honour orders that went through before Renault switched from MY24 to MY25 but i'm not holding my breath. It's not like Renault have stopped putting 4Control in the Austral, because the French market version can have it as an optional addon.
So basically the difference from mid spec to top spec is the upgraded sound system, panoramic sunroof and 360 camera.

I would hope you will get the car you ordered and get the 4 control system you asked for.
I'll tell you this though, as good as it is in reducing your overall turning circle, which does make quite a difference, both my wife and I are struggling to park this car squarely against the curb and often find we are not straight in a bay and often have to line up again.
Compare this to my old ford C-max, where I can usually park pretty straight about 8 inches from the curb front and back, I am starting to feel that the rear steer effect is messing my angles when parking, which I see others have commented on elsewhere.
It's taking some practice to get this aspect of the 4 wheel steer right, but it's agility is quite impressive for a large car.
Renault seem to be tweaking with the options quite early into the launch, which includes the central console screen size also.
I am unsure if the UK market is affected or not with these changes.
You may also have noticed that the manufacturers quoted MPG is reduced when the 4control option is fitted.
