Our Austral is having intermittent issues displaying road speed signs.
The head up display will show a circle with 3 dots when it is in this confused mode.
Mostly it works fine, but it will fail on occasion,.. on most trips.
I reported it to Renault customer services via phone.
They sought clarification on 2 issues.
1/ was it failing due to a camera sensor being dirty
2/ was google maps not performing correctly.
I asked why ?
She needed to tell technical whether our car read the signs via cameras on the car or from road information obtained from google maps. To determine this i had to send pictures from the settings pages which then provided the hardware and software versions listed to my car.
I assume a dirty sign or obstructed camera could be a potential cause or a software issue.
They responded by stating the issue would require dealer investigation.
I will arrange this soon.
