Then surely some for of compensation required from the dealership is in order. I placed an order largely on the basis of having adaptive cruise control. All of the press material, reviews and indeed the online material states that this is a feature so I am expecting to have it installed.
That may be the case as I was told the same even by Renault after purchasing the car. They are still looking at issues with the app on the car two months after having the car. But it's not a big show-stopper for me, you still have adaptive cruise control, just not that particular function.

The adaptive cruise control still didn't automatically adjust to speed limit changes though and I had to use the traffic sign recognition button on the steering wheel each time to push the changes across.
I'm pretty sure that's how it's meant to work so nothing off there!

Correct, turns out in the UK we don't get it!
Really annoying as it's one of the features I was reading about in the literature prior to my wife getting hers.
First timer here, I Just picked up my 24 reg Renault Austral 200 full hybrid, I got the Techno Esprit Alpine spec and its amazing. My only concern is the drivers cockpit theme is different to any i have seen before, when I change the screen layout using the button on the steering wheel it cycles through theme's that do not change the look of the Speedo also the little icon of the car doesn't match my car colour is that normal?
I have just collected my 74 plate and I have the same looking at all other models there is a view buttom on the right hand side of the steering wheel but mine has a button with 4 sqaures on instead and when trying to change screen they are all pretty much the same asked the dealer about this and they claim it's the newest layout shame as I really liked the look of some of the older screen displays
The colour of the mini car on the drivers screen is white but my vehicle is black im sure I saw somewhere that it is meant tonmatch your car colour, could this mean a fault? TIA

Potentially it will now not only recognise the signs and display the information but also automatically adjust the cruise control as it's supposed to when active and maybe just needed that final connection confirmed on the admin account. At least I'm hoping that's the case now!
Can you confirm if auto speed adjustment in ACC for speed sign changes?
I was told we have to hit the circle button every time!
Sorry to hear about the issues with your new Techno Alpine Austral. It sounds like a software update might be needed to fix the traffic recognition system and the HUD display issues. It’s good that you have it booked in for exploratory work tomorrow. Hopefully, the technicians will be able to resolve these glitches quickly.
In the meantime, if you’re considering transporting your vehicle for any reason, like taking it to a specialized service center, you might find some useful information on vehicle transport services at https://www.a1autotransport.com/. They offer a range of options that could make the process easier and more convenient for you.
