Hi everyone, Just had the Austral for two weeks now, we have a dog and cannot find out how to turn off the interior alarm sensors. Asked the retailer and he does not know, can anyone help please. Many thanks, Jeff.

Hi,
You have probably tried it, but go onto another Renault forum and ask if anyone can turn the alarm off on another model, it might be the same as the Austral.

Hi. The solution is on the Open R screen. Select the Vehicle World icon (top right corner), select Vehicle, select Automatisms, select Access, select Disable Volumetric Alarm.

Hope that helps.

Hi, i have an Austral Iconic and have tried to dis arm the alarm as suggested by AndyC123 above but my Vehicle Screen does not show Automatisms, i assume the Vehicle World icon is the same as the Vehicle icon, if not can someone tell me how i find it?
When i had my Kadjar, to dis arm you had to hold the lock button down on the fob until it beeped 4 times. The booklet for the Austral says hold it down for 2 seconds and it will be confirmed with a long bleep, unfortunately this did work.
Any advice and guidance is much appreciated as we are going off on holiday shortly, and the dog might be left in the car at some point, not if its hot obviously, but not much likely hood of that the way the weather has been.
Thanks.

Helo all, I got so fed up looking and asking that the only way was to cover the sensors with tape, it works. Thanks everyone for your coments.

To de activate the Austral alarm press the stop start button on and off twice immediately after stopping the engine then lock the car using the key fob, you will hear a single bleep for a few seconds after. All done. I had to figure this out we sometimes have a few hours nap in the car travelling through Europe.
