My wife has the main Administrator rights on the infotainment screen. She has HUD selected to ON.
My profile also has HUD switched to ON under my own preferences.
When I select my profile the HUD illuminates and works fine.
When my wife reselects her profile the HUD is OFF by default and has to be re-enabled again in the settings to get it to appear.
If I go back into my profile my HUD is on by default.
For some reason it's not saving my wife's selection in the memory.
She ain't happy as she is da - Boss.

Any ideas Gang ?

I have the exact same issue, however my wife's profile has always the HUD, but when I switch back my profile the HUD is gone and I have to set it again, every time... same as you. Same for my Android Auto, it will not reconnect after my wife has used her Apple with her profile. So annoying

The same happens with our Austral, Renault have some serious software problems they need to address, drives me mad…

I may have found the solution.
Don't select the HUD "on" setting while the car is moving.
Example, if you are messing with settings while you are seated in the passenger seat because your wife is driving. It switches it on but strangely doesn't save it for next time,
So do it while you are stationary and ignition on
This has worked for us and my wifes HUD now comes on even after switching profiles from mine.

Cheers

Just assign HUD to the steering wheel favourite button, that’s my workaround.

I can confirm the above post. If the main driver profile has the Head up display activated, and you change over the profile for driver 2 when needed, enter the "Vehicle" menu TAB, select cockpit and activate HUD to be the fav button.
Then the display will default to the main driver profile when needed, and when the 2nd driver profile is used you just toggle the switch on the steering to select Favourite and the HUD will come on.
This is just a quick workaround to defeat the fact that both profiles will not always save the HUD setting for both drivers. Another software anomaly i'm afraid.
