Just for everyone’s information really
I recently had the recall letter about the spark plugs and rang my local dealer who said they can’t do it on a Saturday due to now diagnostic technicians at work it has to be booked in on a weekday, but don’t worry it’s not urgent. Seeing as I work away all week it was a bit of a problem. !!
Fast forward 2 weeks to the weekend just gone and all of a sudden the car starts misfiring and rattling on ,
Then I get engine management lights on and warning message check injection system.
Limped the car back home as was only couple of miles left it on the drive Sunday. Rang my local dealer (Durham) Monday morning only to be told I have to ring the breakdown number in the top corner of the windscreen. Out come the RAC Monday morning n said go yes it’s got a definite misfire n towed it to the dealer.
Turns out that spark plugs was the problem they say.
Now the car stuck at the dealer as they don’t deliver it back to you. Mmmm
