Hello all,
Just got yesterday new Austral. I have issue with dashboard view. It doesnt change and view button dont work, just shortly switch to some screen and then back to this default one which I got from start.
Another topic which is not an issue with car but a nice feature to have, or it is already there but I dont know how to use it. ITs about google map. I can find an option to edit route. ALso is there a way to send already created route with few "stop overs" to car map? COuld not find solution for both map problem with both car map and android auto map.
Thank you all for your time
Marko

The dash (directly in front of you) out the center console (the larger screen between driver and passenger)?
May need a software update, should do it over night automatically if this is the issue. Dash shouldn't change on its own.
Best way to use maps on it is definitely through your phone. I find asking Google assistant to plot a journey easier than trying to input the data manually.
Hope that helps.

You can add car to your Android maps. Google settings in maps view, then select your vehicle and add vehicle (need to be signed into Google in the R-Link system)
Then plan journey and send info to car when you get in by selecting 'send to vehicle'

There is some weirdness of conflict with Google maps. Namely, the one built in to the car does not always tally with the one which loads when the car is connected. You will also notice that the one from the phone wireless connection is full featured with satellite view whereas this is not an option in the car AFAIK. When I send a route to the car as above, it goes to the car version of the map only and not the phone version. It can get very confusing where the route has gone. Better to set the route on the phone and then select it when viewing the phone map in the car even though they are allegedly the same thing.
