I don't live anywhere near Dover, actually, the East Midlands. Sometimes when I start the car and move away I realise that it has the speed limit in KM and stays that way until I get to the end of the road when it picks up it as 30mph. So, effectively, 48kph instead of 30mph. It doesn't last long enough as my road is only 32 houses long for me to work out anything else, it's just weird.
But then, I suspect my particular car thinks it is still French.
